Creating an art portfolio website for Stevan Cigaridov required balancing artistic expression with functionality. The challenge was to design a platform that not only showcased his diverse art but also communicated his unique creative identity.
The biggest challenge with this project was the big number of images that needed to be nested in custom grid, while the high priority was not to shrink or broaden the images. Also the website needed to be in two languages.
I focused on a clean, minimalist design that emphasized the artwork. The user interface needed to be intuitive, ensuring visitors could easily navigate through different sections on the page.
The gallery was custom build using a lot of sub-grids inside of the main grid, and the language task was solved with Webflow interactions and the form was connected with Formspree for email notifications.
The final product was a user-friendly portfolio that effectively represented Stevan Cigaridov's artistic vision, and successfully elevating his online presence.
Overall, it's one-page website portfolio that is responsive on tablet and mobile, have options for two languages and easy to use form which enables fast contact with the artist
